Sorry for my absence over the past couple days. I’ve been laying low, letting myself get over this cold And it’s working. It’s just about gone.
I’ve been thinking about SparkPeople. I really don’t know that it’s for me. I don’t mind counting points as Weight Watchers does, but there’s something very off-putting about writing down every little thing I put in my mouth food-wise (not drinks, except water).
Maybe it’s the rebel in me, I don’t know.
I think SparkPeople has a lot of good things going on with the site, but I’m just not a food-diary-keeper kind of person. I’m not abandoning SP yet (though I haven’t entered anything for a couple days), but I’m looking into other options.
Now that I’m feeling better, I’m going to tackle the Walk Away the Pounds DVD again.

I gave up on spark people, too. If you don’t like the obsessive method of weight loss (and who does!) I highly recommend “French Women Don’t Get Fat”. It’s incredible! It’s all about losing weight without deprivation and learning to really enjoy food for pleasure. That’s the manual I’ve adopted for my own weight loss journey. Everything else is far too stressful.

Have you joined any teams on SparkPeople? They give awesome support. I don’t use their food diary – I do keep a diary on my own. How did you like Walk Away the Pounds?
